About the artist

 Ivana San Basilio has been a professional singer and composer for fifteen plus years. Her formal education in music, production, and voice spanned three countries most notably the “Real Musical” Conservatory of Music in Madrid, Spain where she studied classical music and piano, G. Martell in Mexico D.F. concentrating in contemporary music, piano, and voice, and lastly studies at Berklee College of Music where she completed a dual Bachelor's degree in Contemporary Writing and Production and Filmscoring, graduating cum laude as a member of the Dean’s list.

As a composer, since a young age, Ivana has worked extensively in the feature film, most notably providing an electronic arrangement for “El Viaje de Arian” which was awarded the best feature film at the Festival de San Sebastian in 2000. In addition to composing for film she’s written and produced for radio jingles, television commercials, and arranged music for international recording artist Paloma San Basilio, also providing vocals on her album “Perlas” and producing her latest album “Amolap”, where she wrote four original songs.

Added to her abilities in writing music Ivana is also a well-accomplished and versatile vocalist and performer, providing vocals for her many compositions and other collaborative projects that have performed in Spain, the US, and other countries including Puerto Rico, Santo Domingo, Mexico, etc...

Now with her own company Shalee Productions she has branched out from music creation to also video production and book publishing.
